Voices cracked. Tears were shed. Smiles stretched wide, and laughter punctuated the alpine landscape.

Family, friends and colleagues of Nate Waterhouse turned out last Sunday at the Fields of Attitash to ride the trails close to the heart of the man known for his impact in the valley’s bike and ski worlds.

What’s Going On ? Bike Borderlands has expanded its network to 16 networks including WMNEMBA! Bike Borderlands is a collaboration of 16 mountain biking destinations across the Northern Forest. Go to Strava and join the Bike Borderlands Club for details. This is a pretty cool way to show the strength of this group of clubs and networks. Bike Borderlands has been working with these original networks for some time now and really fostered their creation and growth. You might be familiar with the COOS system which has been part of the initial phase of this organization. I’m stoked for the opportunity to work with all of these leaders in continuing to grow Mountain Biking in northern New England.

Lagers Lane realignment: Lagers will get a small realignment so that it aligns with the High School trail trailhead. There will also be a connector to the gate on FS rd. 379 which will complete the goal of routing bike traffic off of FS roads with vehicle traffic. Electric Loop bridge: The old long skinny bridge is in need of replacement…
