Livermore Challenge
ivermore N.H.
A turn of the century rough and tumble logging camp that grew into a town. The pioneering spirit of those hearty individuals inspires this back country adventure!
https://www.bartletthistory.net/livermoreintroduction
Hey all you gravel monsters out there, we heard you! This year's challenge includes a gravel route that shares the same start and finish. Some of the route will be the same as the MTB route and some will be a challenge of its own. This isn't a gravel spin, this is a gnarly grinder so pull up your panties if you're up to the challenge.
MTB or Gravel?
We heard you, you gravel monsters!
The Gravelmore Challenge is here, full or half send, either way it's gonna' hurt! Chunky, funky, an all of the above gravel challenge, are you up to it?
Course Details
Race, Ride, Adventure, Hardo or Party Pace, it's your call!
Get ready for a true backcountry mix of gravel, singletrack and a little paved spinning. You'll start with a casual gravel climb by the Sawyer River, passing by the remnants of the historic Livermore logging camp and settlement. This leads to the old RR bed taking you over the height of land into the Rob Brook area next to the Swift river. Now we get into some singletrack for a bit before some more gravel heading toward Bear Notch rd. aid station. Classic old school singletrack brings you to the Albany covered bridge. This is the half way point and finish for the Half Send. If you're going Full Send, there's a good recovery spin on some pavement before you enter the West Side trails in the lower moats. Spin on through the High St. aid station and roll into the woods again. The West Side delivers the goods, singletrack palooza all the way to the finish.
This is a point to point race. We recommend that you have someone with a support vehicle for transport to and from the start and finish. There will be shuttles available as well, timing will vary depending on needs and routes.
Mass start at the bottom of Sawyer River rd.
Start time 9:00 AM for all categories.
Proceeds from The Livermore Challenge support local trails. White Mountains NEMBA maintains over 100 miles of trails in the Mount Washington Valley. All proceeds will be donated to WMNEMBA!

24 Hours of Great Glen
CELEBRATING 26 YEARS | AUGUST 1-2, 2026
Big Day Brewing 24 Hours of Great Glen, the most beloved and iconic mountain bike race in New England, returns again in 2026. This year, we’re going back to prehistoric times, camping, parties, kids events, live music and bash celebrating the most delicious suds around made by Big Day Brewing.
RIDE TOGETHER
The magic of this race is the vibe. It’s about the encouragement from your fellow 500 riders. High fives, cheers, support from strangers, heartache, victory, and sore legs. It’s about perseverance, costumes, the music, the quiet riding at night, the beer, the party, bacon lap, the grilled cheese, the campground scene … come live the experience and become part of the history here at the Glen.
The course itself is a roughly 9.1 mile loop that winds its way around the carriage roads, doubletrack, bridges, and technical singletrack at the base of Mt. Washington. The course features challenging segments such as the infamous floating bridge over the Glen Pond.

Why We Ride

Community bake with Flatbread North Conway!
The White Mountains chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association has been active in
the mount Washington valley for 25 years! That’s 25 years of trails, advocacy and community
which have led to over 100 miles of bike and multi use trails in the MWV.
WMNEMBA works with local stakeholders, municipalities and federal agencies to create and
maintain trails that benefit local community members. A trail is so much mare than a physical
path in the woods, it is a place to recreate, reflect, and enjoy the world around us. The MWV
has a long history of outdoor recreation and an entire business community formed around it.
WMNEMBA has been a key organization in the development of mountain biking in this
community.
As a completely volunteer organization, community support and involvement are key to our
success. Each year hundreds of volunteer hours go toward fulfilling our mission including trail
building and maintenance, youth programs, winter fat bike grooming, advocacy and supporting
other organizations.
Aside from a portion of membership dues, our entire budget comes from donations, grants and
fundraisers like this.

The Summer Race Series will be hosting it’s final race of the season on Saturday if that's your jam. Lake Life Yoga will be offering morning pre-ride yoga.
We're stoked to have the Coho hostel partnering with us! If you're looking for some indoor accommodations, look no further, located at the other end of West Side rd from the fest grounds. Follow this link and get a sweet discount on your stay!
Roll in sometime Friday, set up camp, and get on your bike for an evening group ride from the Fields. Get down with Escape Goat for some live music Friday night! Rise Saturday morning and take a walk down to the river and figure out what the day's plan is, there are lots of options.
Saturday and Sunday we'll be running shuttles from the Fest to Marshall Conservation for access to West Side trails, Hemlock parking for access to Eastside trails and Cranmore parking for Hurricane Zone and Eastside access. No need to break down camp, just jump on the bus!
Saturday night and everything's all right! Join the Autmnal Equinox party with live music From CARBOY !
