The White Mountains chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association has been active in
the mount Washington valley for 25 years! That’s 25 years of trails, advocacy and community
which have led to over 100 miles of bike and multi use trails in the MWV.
WMNEMBA works with local stakeholders, municipalities and federal agencies to create and
maintain trails that benefit local community members. A trail is so much mare than a physical
path in the woods, it is a place to recreate, reflect, and enjoy the world around us. The MWV
has a long history of outdoor recreation and an entire business community formed around it.
WMNEMBA has been a key organization in the development of mountain biking in this
community.
As a completely volunteer organization, community support and involvement are key to our
success. Each year hundreds of volunteer hours go toward fulfilling our mission including trail
building and maintenance, youth programs, winter fat bike grooming, advocacy and supporting
other organizations.
Aside from a portion of membership dues, our entire budget comes from donations, grants and
fundraisers like this.
